No Mow May is a blooming success!
EnvirotechFM was proud to participate in No Mow May 2025, allowing nature to flourish and wildflowers to thrive at more than 40 sites across the UK.
No Mow May is an annual campaign urging everyone – both at home and in business – to pack away the lawnmower, let wildflowers grow freely and to help nature.
Approximately 97% of flower-rich meadows have been lost across the UK since the 1930s, and with them, vital food and habitat needed by wildlife. A healthy lawn with longer grass and wildflowers helps to tackle pollution, benefits wildlife and can even lock away carbon below the ground.
By giving the lawnmowers a rest across participating EnvirotechFM sites, we created vital habitats for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and beetles — all essential for a healthy ecosystem – and as a result we saw increased colour, life, and biodiversity that sprang up during May.
